I am one of the family medicine physicians. I have been practicing at the Foden Road (South Portland) office of InterMed since 2006.

 

I am originally from Wisconsin and moved to Maine in 2002 to do my residency training at Maine Medical Center. I fell in love with Maine and when I was done with my training was very happy to find a job locally.

 

I enjoy many aspects of family medicine. I appreciate the wide variety of patients and problems I get to see on a daily basis. I especially enjoy practicing obstetrics from a family-based perspective and feel lucky to have the opportunity to care for all members of a family as they grow and change.

 

Outside of medicine I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband is also a physician and we have two girls, who are both in high school. We like to be outside in the woods or at the water as much as possible!
