My name is Grace Hyndman, and I am a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. I have always known I wanted to do something that allowed me to work with children and build relationships with families. Becoming a nurse practitioner was a great way to combine those goals with my interests in medicine, education and problem solving.
The most rewarding part of my job is getting to see children and families grow and develop and providing support during moments of excitement as well as more challenging periods. Working with like-minded colleagues is such a privilege, too. I also love the humor and enthusiasm kids bring to visits!
I am thrilled to be back home in Maine, closer to family and with more access to my favorite outdoor activities. I am looking forward to being a part of supporting Maine families and communities.
When I am not working, I love cross country and downhill skiing, paddleboarding, reading, spending time with family and friends, baking and watching the Great British Bake Off. I am happy doing anything outdoors or that involves eating great food!
