Hello! I’m Genevieve Mack, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) here at InterMed. I’m passionate about providing exceptional care to children and partnering with families to ensure the best outcomes for each patient’s health and well-being. It’s a privilege to be entrusted with the care of children, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
The initial and ongoing inspiration for me to work in Pediatrics comes from my love for children, the exciting advancements in modern medicine, and my dedication to always being a compassionate, collaborative, and thorough healthcare provider. The most rewarding part of my job is working in partnership with families to provide high-quality care and improve the health and well-being of my patients.
I am proud to hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, which has provided me with advanced clinical expertise. In addition, I earned both a Master of Nursing and a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. My education has been comprehensive and well-rounded, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to refine my skills through both extensive academic training and over 25 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, which has shaped me into the dedicated healthcare provider I am today.
I’m thrilled to be back in Maine, where I grew up. After living in various parts of the US, I’m excited to return home, be closer to my family, and become part of the wonderful InterMed community. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, reading, painting, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
