My name is Christian Jorns, and I am a physical therapist who specializes in sports and orthopedics.

 

I grew up in Illinois where I studied molecular and cellular biology, and in 2013 I moved to Maine to attend graduate school at the University of New England. Since 2016, I have worked exclusively with recreational and competitive athletes of all ages and backgrounds.

 

My approach to physical therapy is rooted in my biology background. A central tenet is that "life finds a way." Meaning, there is always something we can change about your pain experience, and we need to work together to discover what levers to pull in order to get you back on your way.

 

Life in Maine has afforded me many opportunities, and according to my wife, I have picked up way too many hobbies! When I am not doing PT things, I like to spend my time exploring the local woods and waters with my German shepherd, working on my house, gardening, hunting, playing video games and lifting weights in my garage.
