My name is Mary Burke and I am pediatric physical therapist at InterMed. I enjoy working with children of all ages, treating a variety of diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, torticollis, genetic variations and deletions, toe walking and more. I value providing innovative and collaborative care, working alongside my patients and their families to set and achieve their goals.

I was raised in South Carolina where I attended the University of South Carolina and received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.

I grew up in a family of medical providers with my father as a general surgeon and mother as a pediatric physical therapist, so I was exposed to the medical field early. I was always fascinated by what they did and how they were able to help people. They made me realize this was something I wanted to do some day as well. I eventually found my passion for helping others move and live with physical therapy.

Following my passion, I decided to move north to New Hampshire where I attended Physical Therapy school at Franklin Pierce University and met my husband, a Maine native.

We decided to move to Maine where I quickly fell in love with the state, enjoying long beach walks, hikes in the mountains and skiing in the winter season. I can often be found accompanied by my sweet black Labrador Retriever, Andie.
