My name is Julie Pelletier, and I am an emergency medicine Physician.
I grew up in northern California, and completed medical school at University of California, San Diego. I met my husband in medical school and I fell in love with Maine in 2006 after visiting his hometown in southern Maine.
After completing my emergency medicine residency at Maine Medical Center, my husband and I lived in Midcoast Maine followed by the Big Island of Hawaii. After a memorable year of volcanoes, ocean swimming, big flora and indoor-outdoor living in Hawaii, we returned to Maine.
We are now back to four season adventures with our three children. I love lounging on local sandy and rocky beaches, hiking, reading, cooking and crafting. Most recently, I’ve been exploring Acadia National Park on foot or bike, reading for a book club and venturing into Shibori/indigo dye and needle felting.
I love working with people of all ages and I take pride in helping my patients navigate medical uncertainty during acute care conditions.
