We are currently experiencing issues with our fax lines; we are only intermittently receiving faxes for records and prescriptions at the moment. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

I am very excited to practice primary care at InterMed.
I did my internal medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and I worked as a hospitalist for six years prior to joining InterMed. During my residency training, I was drawn to the fast-paced, high-acuity medicine in the hospital setting.
While I gained invaluable knowledge from managing acutely ill patients with multiple complex medical issues, I felt that by the time the patient was hospitalized, it was often too late for us to intervene and make meaningful changes to their long-term outcomes and health trajectories.
I switched to primary care to develop deeper, long-lasting relationships with patients and families with the goal of prevention and early intervention to improve long-term health.
The most rewarding aspect of medicine for me has always been education by committing to lifelong learning, educating students and trainees and counseling patients and their families. I look forward to developing long-term relationships that will allow me to educate, empower and support patients as they navigate their healthcare journeys.
Outside of work, my husband and I keep busy chasing around our young daughter and taking advantage of the beautiful outdoors that Maine has to offer. We love hiking, and a bucket list item is to hike the entire Kalalau trail in Kauai as a family one day.
