My name is Jennifer Landry and I am a physician assistant.
I graduated from Wheaton College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, Biology and Secondary Education. I then received my Master of Science at Springfield College in 1996. I spent a few years teaching high school biology in Massachusetts only to return to school at Quinnipiac University, where I trained to be a physician assistant. I received my Master of Science in 2001 and have worked in Maine for the past 20 years.
Prior to InterMed, I worked at Maine Medical Center in adult inpatient medicine. I spent one year in cardiology at Northeast Cardiology in Bangor, and five years in Bethel in family practice.
My family and I live in Gorham. We love our community, schools and neighbors. I have three children: two girls, ages 19 and 17, and one son, age 15. My three kids are very active and participate in alpine skiing, hockey, soccer, theater, dance and music. They keep me busy when I am not working.
In the summer, we spend time at Winona Camps for Boys in Bridgton. Our family owns and operates a traditional overnight summer camp for boys ages 6-16. The girls spent many years at our sister camp, Wyonegonic Camps for Girls. My middle daughter is now a counselor. In the winter, we enjoy skiing and attending hockey games. My oldest daughter graduated from Gould Academy in 2021 and is now continuing her training in Bethel, which brings us to the mountains often.
InterMed, by far, has been my favorite place to work. I love meeting new patients and working with a great medical team.
