We are currently experiencing a technical issue that is impacting our ability to receive faxes. As a result, clinical documentation and prescription requests sent via fax may not be received. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, though we do not yet have an estimated time for resolution. In the meantime, we encourage patients to use the patient portal for prescription refill requests or to call your primary care provider for any urgent needs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore our systems.

I have been practicing internal medicine for nearly 25 years. Though I have spent the majority of my professional career at InterMed, before coming to work here I gained invaluable experience as a doctor by serving in the U.S. Army.
After completing my residency at the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, I joined InterMed in 1997 and have since been continually astounded by the common desire to deliver the highest quality healthcare to our patients.
My ultimate goal as an internist is to help my patients avoid illnesses and improve their wellness, but in the event that they should need treatment, I strive to provide them with the best care I can possibly give.
In my career, I value the importance of respecting each patient as an individual with unique needs. The long-term relationships that develop in primary care are extremely satisfying, and constantly remind me why I chose this specialty. There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching a patient achieve a goal that you both set and worked towards together.
Outside of the work I do here at InterMed, I enjoy both running and swimming. I also teach at Tufts University as an associate professor of medicine.
