Southern Connecticut State University (MS in Audiology)
A.T. Still University (Doctor of Audiology)
I was born and raised in Vermont, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications Disorders from the University of Vermont. I then moved to New Haven, Connecticut to attend and receive my master’s degree in audiology from Southern Connecticut State University.
Fresh out of school I worked for an ear, nose and throat practice in Connecticut where I treated patients for hearing loss and balance disorders for two years before I headed back north to be closer to family.
I served as the director of audiology for more than 10 years in Littleton, New Hampshire at a local ear, nose and throat practice where I was able to treat patients from birth to 105!
During my time in Littleton, I earned a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from A.T. Still University. I was excited to make the move to Maine two years ago as I spent summers as a child visiting my aunt in South Portland.
For the last two years, I have practiced at a local audiology practice in Portland treating patients with hearing loss and tinnitus before joining InterMed.
My passion for audiology began when I was a teenager and babysat a deaf child who ended up being the first child in Vermont to receive a cochlear implant. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than helping people get back to better hearing. I view my patients as extended family members.
In my spare time I am busy chasing my two young boys around, cooking, boating in the summer and traveling the world with my kids and husband.
