Dani Richardson, FNP

I am both honored and excited to be providing care at InterMed as a board-certified family nurse practitioner.

I initially went to college to become a teacher, but very quickly realized my passion was medicine. After completing an undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Southern Maine, I earned a nursing degree from Southern Maine Community College and attended graduate school at Rivier University in New Hampshire.

I previously worked for nine years in emergency medicine at Southern Maine Health Care. It is exciting to start my nurse practitioner career at InterMed Internal Medicine. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with my patients in a primary care setting. The culture of InterMed provides a work-life balance that suits my family.

I was born and raised here in Maine and am happy to be raising my family here. My three children and I live in Saco with our dog and a few too many chickens. Outside of work, we enjoy snowboarding, boating, camping and visiting with friends and family.
