We are currently experiencing a technical issue that is impacting our ability to receive faxes. As a result, clinical documentation and prescription requests sent via fax may not be received. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, though we do not yet have an estimated time for resolution. In the meantime, we encourage patients to use the patient portal for prescription refill requests or to call your primary care provider for any urgent needs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore our systems.

I have been an internist for nearly 20 years. I grew up in New England and went to Cornell for both undergraduate and medical school. I then completed my residency in Seattle.
During my training, I traveled to Africa, where I worked at a remote hospital and participated in a flying doctor service. After residency, I continued to work with the underserved by joining a rural community health clinic, where I provided primary care for migrant farmworkers. I then transitioned to hospital-based medicine for 13 years, with the last nine years spent in Portland at Mercy Hospital.
I enjoy spending my spare time with my daughter — or you may catch me playing hockey, skiing, cycling or traveling!
I am very excited to return to primary care at InterMed, where I look forward to getting to know my patients and having the privilege of taking care of them throughout their stages of life.
