We are currently experiencing a technical issue that is impacting our ability to receive faxes. As a result, clinical documentation and prescription requests sent via fax may not be received. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, though we do not yet have an estimated time for resolution. In the meantime, we encourage patients to use the patient portal for prescription refill requests or to call your primary care provider for any urgent needs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore our systems.

My name is Chelsea Swandal, and I am thrilled to be part of the Yarmouth team at InterMed Pediatrics.
After earning my undergrad degrees at the University of Maine in Orono, I worked in cancer research in Dallas and Boston for five years. I returned to Maine to attend medical school at the University of New England and knew early on that caring for children was my passion.
I completed my pediatric residency at Stony Brook University in New York and then returned to northern Maine where I have practiced for 10 years.
Growing up in both Montana and northern Maine, I appreciate being surrounded by nature, but I also love the energy of a vibrant city. My wonderful husband is a true Mainer, so moving to southern Maine to raise our young family is the perfect choice offering the best of both worlds!
Our family loves adventure, music and finding new places to explore. In the summer we can often be found on the water, having a picnic or riding our bikes. In the winter you can find us packing up for weekend getaways or looking for the best snowy hill to challenge!
Helping parents and patients navigate each phase of childhood is fun, rewarding and a privilege I never take for granted. I look forward to meeting your family and working together to help your children stay happy and healthy.
