We are currently experiencing a technical issue that is impacting our ability to receive faxes. As a result, clinical documentation and prescription requests sent via fax may not be received. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, though we do not yet have an estimated time for resolution. In the meantime, we encourage patients to use the patient portal for prescription refill requests or to call your primary care provider for any urgent needs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore our systems.

Simmons College Myopain Seminars, Bethesda, MD Certification in manual trigger point dry needling.

My name is Andrea Blais, and I’m rejoining the Physical Therapy team at InterMed's Foden Road location.

I received my master’s degree in physical therapy from Simmons College in Boston in 1993. I also received my certification in manual trigger point dry needling from Myopain Seminars in Bethesda, Maryland in 2019.

I returned to InterMed after seven years away working in an outpatient, orthopedic sports clinic in Raleigh, North Carolina.

My specialties include vestibular rehabilitation, dry needling and manual therapy.

I am thrilled to be able to return home to Maine and the InterMed family.

Outside of work I enjoy family time, walking my Havanese, Rudy, on the beach, downhill skiing in the winter and trying to improve my golf game in the summer.
